My 1st ever journal paper?

It seems that I've been invited to submit an extended version of the SAS'04 paper for journal publication. Yaay -- I didn't realise that this was going to be a possibility, so I'm really pleased by this.

This is the journal:



which is going to have a special issue for SAS.


Dear SAS'04 authors,
as announced during the conference in Verona at the end of
Aug. 2004, it is my firm intention to organize a special issue
with the best SAS2004 papers in a relevant journal in the area.
The Program Committee focused on Science of Computer Programming,
(http://www.elsevier.com/wps/find/journaldescription.cws_home/505623/description#description)
by Elsevier, as the target journal, and selected 8 papers among the best papers
of SAS2004. The Special Issue will include the selected papers
submitted for further revision, together with two papers by 2 of the
invited speakers, if they accept the invitation for a Journal version of their
invited talks: P. Cousot and T. Henzinger.

On the behalf of the Program Committee, I would like to invite you
to submit an extended version of your paper:

- Abstract Interpretation of Asynchronous Circuits

which has been considered as one of the best papers at the conference.
The deadline for submitting the extended version of your paper should be
**Jan 31, 2005**. The paper should be formatted following the Elsevier Guidelines
(http://authors.elsevier.com/GuideForAuthors.html?PubID=505623&dc=GFA)
and should be sent to Roberto Giacobazzi <roberto.giacobazzi@univr.it>.
The paper will be reviewed by 2 or more referees according to the standards of the
best journals in the area.
