In other news, Chicken Egg Problem came third at the camera club tonight, so it's going ahead for the regional competition in a month or so's time. I had a lot of good feedback about it (including a few people saying it should have got more than a third place), but I was quite happy to have it be noticed -- the competition was pretty strong, and I am a newcomer to the club, after all.

I actually got to go to the BBC canteen quite frequently, seeing the astonishingly eyeburning kipper ties up close and personal. At the time, I thought that OU was showing lots of programs made in the late 60s and early 70s, but no, they were current, it was the lecturers' actual dress sense!
