For the benefit of anyone wondering if doseybat and I are OK, the answer is yes in both cases. I am in Spain visiting my mum, and doseybat is in Vienna at a conference.
I didn't realise that you were going away! Is bat having a nice time in Vienna? Are you in Spain? Me and Rosie are fine, I spoke to her at about 2.10pm and she was sitting in a pub on the Grey's Inn Road with her dog who has come to visit, thinking about how to get home which may take a while although she wasn't enthused by my idea of walking home...
It wasn't planned, actually. My mum just suggested it on Monday, I booked the tickets there and then, and turned up here on Wednesday.
I think Bat is doing fine. She was complaining about euphorbia overload this morning. Although, I am wondering a little whether it actually had more to do with it having been the big posh conference dinner the previous night... :-)
I'm going to go and see her next Thursday, assuming of course I can actually *get* to Heathrow. Looks like I'll probably have to book a car park rather than trust public transport to get me there on time. Grr.
It's annoying enough when people start blowing up randomly. When they do it on a regular basis it becomes irritating.
Euphorbia overload? Sounds .... interesting ;-) Glad you're both having a nice time. The tube system is pretty much back to normal this morning, I got the victoria line and people seemed less twitched than they were two weeks ago. Things just about back to normal I would say. Have a lovely time in the heat and see you when you get back from various European locations ;-)
Sounds awesome. We need more Fondue! You guys should come over one weekend, and we can all go down to brighton in the evening and then you guys can crash at our house.
The only warning I have to give you is that our new place is much smaller than the prvious one, so you will have to partake in our futon. The lounge does have a door, but you are kind of limited to the extent of privacy a 1 bedroom flat can provide.
