Last time I visited davefish, I was warned about the spiders in the downstairs loo. This isn't normally something that's a problem for me, so after a cursory check for huge lurking monstrosities showed nothing up, I ventured in...
A minute later, I spotted the first spider, maybe an inch or so across; nothing too much to worry about; then, a little later, its big brother, lurking on the other side of the door. The final web, hidden under the basin, was rather more impressive, and seemed to be inhabited by something not entirely unlike your drawing. Think Goldilocks and the three bears, only running backwards :)
I know, I know, don't expect my brain to produce anything lucid while in bed ill. Hit and run commenting is about all I'm up to, though...
