It was great to see everyone on Saturday, and yet more fun to do the_alchemist/yves_ilena's readthrough on Sunday. I feel I should probably say a lot more about both days, but I think other people have done a good job with this already, so I'll leave it at this. :-)

How long before you went to Ed's was it that you heard from them? I haven't had anything but a very general paper booklet from the college yet.

Also (sorry, if there were more ppl from ed's on here I would spread the qs out!) if you get connected to the college's ethernet, does that mean you have all you need to access the internet as well as the intranet? Or would I need an ISP?

I was given details when I arrived. As regards net, I think you pay something like a one-off 30 pound fee, then you get a hugely fast connection to the University network and the Internet beyond. You definitely don't need an ISP if you live in college.
