I fancy going to see a film tonight. Is anyone else interested?

Edit:

I am going to see I, Robot at Cambridge Vue cinema at 6.40pm. Currently I'm going on my own, so feel free to show up at the last minute if you feel like it. :-)

I would be (I never did end up going last week), only my Monday karate class doesn't finish until 9.30, which is a bit late for film-going.

It is (much) better than I expected it to be. I was concerned that it might not fit properly with the Asimov robot universe, but (to my surprise) it actually followed it quite rigorously, and no less rigorously than some of the later books. If you think of it as a Will Smith special effects action movie *set in* the Asimov robot universe, this would describe it very well. (The special effects are very good indeed, actually). I'd say more, but it would be a spoiler!

PS: It is possibly renamed, since it is actually closer to Caves of Steel than any of the I, Robot short stories.

We liked it as well, but I vowed to watch it before reading the stories as I had not done so yet. I try very hard not to read books until after the film is out if I know tis coming, so as not toruin the movie. (notable exceptns made for LotR and HP books)

After I was unable to watch the bollocks they did to the 2nd and 3rd Jurrasic Park moviesI learned my lesson.

Whcih one is Cambridge Vue? The only one I have been to in Cambridgeis the new Cineworld, as we are partial to the posh seats witht he leather arm rests, and that Shiny clean new cinema smell.
