I've been fishing around for flight prices far my various trips tonight. NASA is starting to look frihteningly real at this point. Eeek! It's just Tuesday now when I have to go to the embassy for the visa interview, then it'll (visa processing permitting) just be a couple of weeks and I'll be going.
Scary stuff.
On other news, my talk was less than ideal today. I hadn't had enough time to prepare it, and Alan managet to keep me talking about the SAS paper camera ready last minute changes until about 1 minute before my talk was due to start, so I was nether prepared or in the right frame of mind. Someone in the audience was wearing a
tmcm T-shirt, however. Which was good. I had wondered if it was
trurl, but not actually knowing what he looks like and the TMCM wearer legging it as soon as my talk ended forced a continuation to the mystery.
Who is that mystery T-shirt wearer?
Oh, and this made me blush THIS pinkly.

I was doing my undergraduate at the same time that he was doing his PhD at The University of Glasgow and I distinctly remember him wearing a TMCM T-Shirt back then. At the local coffee shop for the Computing Department (Tinderbox) there also a lot of TMCM paraphernalia, which would explain the link.
