A live album has been released by Kirlian Camera based on a gig I engineered at Slimelight last year.

Bounce indeed!

I'm just listening to it now actually. It has turned out very well. The postproduction was done in Italy, I think -- seems like they did a good job. We recorded the gig on ADAT, so they obviously had plenty to work with.

Hey, congratulations! :) ... and that's a major compliment to your engineering skill if they're going to release the recording on CD!. I remember not being able to make that gig, but at least I may now get the chance to hear it.

No, it's (I think) my second album credit for engineering. The first one was for Ardkore's 'Napalm sticks to kids' in something like 1986. I also have an engineering credit for a track on the B-side of the 12" single version of Erasure's 'Chains of Love' (a very weird cover version of The Theme from The Good, The Bad and the Ugly by Ennio Morricone). There are probably a few more minor releases dating back to the 80s too, but nothing anyone is likely to have heard of!

You're a sound engineer?! I didn't realise that you're so multi-talented.

Is there anything you can't do? Ah yes, now I remember your cinnamon Achilles heel ;-} (evil grin)

Well done!
