Well, this is it. Just about to load everything into the car and go to Cambridge.

Here goes nothing...

It might be a little while before my next post, college computer officer getting my IP address sorted out permitting and all. But I will try to post something soon, if for no other reason that it would be quite nice in the future to have a written record of my initial reactions. I'm taking a camera, so you can expect some pictures soon too!

By the way, I know you like Chinese food, so if you get the chance, check out Mr. K's. It's somewhere around midtown on the east side, maybe 50th & Lexington or somewhore not far from there. It's the best Chinese restaurant I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Wonderful food, with service that is so good it isn't entirely believable.

I'm not actually in New York any more! I was there from 1^st - 8^th, I'm just being slow in getting round to catching up my LJ report of the trip. I'm going to put all the entries under a backdate once they're all done, but I'm initially publishing them as I write them so that they appear on people's friends pages.

Sorry to be confusing. I have about 15 LJ posts in my head right now, but also several major academic deadlines, plus the rest of the festivals to organize in the next couple of weeks, and a bunch of other chores that really should take priority over updating my journal. Hence the slightly muddly account...
