I just ordered two of these, one for the lab and one for my college room. I was originally planning to go for a DataHand keyboard, but after Leo started to get RSI problems with his again, and recommended the Touchstream, I went for those instead.

They are about a quarter of the price of the DataHand equivalent, so I bought two instead of one. Hopefully they should turn up next week -- I'll post about my experiences.

I was recently contemplating the niceness of journal keeping, and decided that it would be really handy if I kept a lab notebook during my PhD (and before, since there are things I'd like to record now that I don't want to lose track of). Therefore, give a round of applause to the new LJ user, [livejournal.com profile] labnotes, my PhD research related alter-ego.

I don't suppose many readers of my LJ will be terribly interested in what's in there, but you're welcome to take a look if you want to.
