I've got a free flicker pro account to give away.. I was thinking you might have use for it. interested? (working at Yahoo they gave every employee a birthday account to pass on to someone)
I don't think he's the greatest SF author ever, but I've had a lot of fun reading his stuff, which counts for quite a lot. He seems really nice in person too, he obviously puts his all into his writing, yet he doesn't seem to have a huge ego about it.
Hi :-P, and nah, wasn't nervous, just kinda unsure what to do next, I was in the slow process of contacting someone I later went on to have a wonderful evening with!
Yeah, but he's got a WHOLE OTHER BOOK to write after that. I thought his Judas duology worked nicely on that front. I was fortunate enough to discover the Sphincter Series (aka The Reality Dysfunction) once he'd finished it, otherwise I would have gone mad from the unnecessary cliffhangers. Ahem.
