I'm not so keen on the top image, the plants and leaves don't work for me at this size. Is there are larger version online?

The second image though - wow. Just wow.

Very nice!

I take it your fisheye is retrofocal? You don't actually have to have the lens 30mm from the film, right?

I second that request for somewhat higher-resolution images. The second one is marvelous.

There are some bigger versions on Flickr:

I generally work assuming that my final version is going to be a reasonably big print, so the first one loses a lot because of that -- I think you need a lot more detail before the photo starts to make sense. The second image isn't so dependent on texture so it works at low resolution without difficulty.

As I mentioned elsewhere in the thread, I've uploaded some bigger versions to Flickr:

Yes, it must be really because the ETRS body is significantly deeper than 30mm, and there is a honking great mirror inside it so the lenses can't ever protrude far inside the mount.

It's a seriously good lens, though -- it's pin sharp edge to edge (just like most other Bronica lenses).

The second image is gorgeous. Once I saw the first image in a bigger size, I saw the beauty in it. Good job on both images.

I think in the first one I would actually prefer to see the colour, the green of the trees and the gold of the sunlight filtering through but it's still an amazing light study.

In the second, the b&w and the contrast actually help making this landscape look alien and primeval.
