Someone in the next-door office brought in a large quantity of fresh limes from his garden. (Yes, it's the middle of winter, but this is California, so I'm not going to start caring that you're all cold and moany now, am I?)
I took a couple.
They looked really nice.
They smelled really nice.
I ate one of them.
I now have chemical burns inside my mouth.
*is stupid*

Date: 2007-01-23 01:00 am (UTC)I wouldn't call eating one stupid; I probably wouldn't do it myself, because I don't like that much sour all by itself, but

Date: 2007-01-23 06:37 am (UTC)I had a weird stomach ache for a while earlier too.
It was clearly a lime's lime. I should be hardier to that kind of thing, being a limey and all.
