I just downloaded a file from Microsoft at 870k/second. That's BYTES per second. Not bits, bytes. The local record is about twice that.

20 times the speed of ADSL anyone???

I'd say more, but the only words that come to mind are rude.

T1 Connection? Mmmmmm. Nice, aren't they? Essential when I had to shift a lot of gigabytes of phd data across the net at one point.
