First Cam lecture is now tomorrow...

At relatively short notice, my lecture that was originally scheduled for Wednesday has now been moved to Monday. It seems I will be lecturing to about 130 people, mostly Part 1B (second year undergrads), but a few Dip. Comp. Sci. and Part 2 are also taking the course so it should be an interesting bunch. It is likely that a fair number of peeps from my research group will show up too.

Should anyone be interested, have a look at the slides and handouts. Needless to say, if you find any errors, please let me know!

Laser Hypnosis

I just printed 130 copies of my lecture handouts on 'ash', the enormous laser printer downstairs in the print room of the CL. I sat there, mesmerised, as a symphony of whirrs, clanks, clicks and shuffles accompanied the process.

Nice printer -- prints on both sides, collates and staples. Yaay to the end of manual collating...
