For me the main take-away from Hedwig was relating the "angry inch" to the flesh left behind on my right hand when they took away digits 11 and 12. "Six fingers forward, five fingers left, I've got an angry inch" I sang to myself, though it's more like 3/8" There's really a dire shortage of feel-good movies with trans themes.
