Solution!

Thanks to everyone who responded to my previous post, in which I asked for Wiki recommendations. I have gone for MediaWiki, on recommendation of several people. I already have it up and running here. I do need to do a bit more layout tweaking and also, er, actually write a bit more content, but it's already done the job as regards giving me somewhere to put my list of papers and their associated download links.

I'm pretty impressed actually -- not bad for an afternoon and an evening's work.

Oh, I succumbed to pressure (from [livejournal.com profile] doseybat, who else) to include a photo of myself. OK, so here it is:

I like the Ready-Brek* halo effect.


*Does anyone else here remember that? Very nineteen-seventies advert for a kind of quick porridge, sends the kids out to school in the mornings sorrounded by this eerie glow. Also seen on Not The Nine o'Clock News as 'Windscale Flakes'.

I'm sure that was still going in the eighties, or was reprised in the nineties or something. I remember it, anyway. I don't remember "Windscale Flakes", though.
