Paper accepted for PREP2004

And then there was two...

I just heard by email tonight. And EPSRC is paying, which is moderately cool. I may have to pay petrol for getting there and back, but no biggie, since its just at the University of Hertfordshire (Hatfield, near J3 on the A1(M)). I've heard it's a lot of fun from people who went last year. I have a busy couple of months coming up, it seems!

Anyway, here's the blurb. It's not an amazingly prestigious publication as publications go, but it's better than a poke in the stick with a sharp eye. And I got a free place, which means I might as well do it anyway. :)

Overview

PREP 2004 is a student-centred conference focused on the training and development needs of postgraduate students in the electronics, photonics, communicationsn networks and computing science communities.

The aims of PREP 2004 are to provide

* a forum for students and young researchers to present technical work to their peers,
* to offer a showcase for the high quality work being carried out in UK universities,
* an opportunity for technical discussion and networking
* to demonstrate university research to industry.

No other conferences within the UK offer the postgraduate community the same scope. In addition to an exciting technical programme, participants have the opportunity to meet personnel from key industrial sectors, to explore job opportunities, and to participate in a full schedule of entertainments. There are 250 free places for post graduate students.
