Strawberry fair, anyone?

Bat and myself (if I'm speaking to her, and if I manage to de-curse my cooking by then) are intending a trip at the weekend up to Cambridge for Strawberry Fair. Anyone else going?

Yes yes yes! Strawberry fair. We should meet up and travel there together. :) Well, actually, you know what happened last time i travelled on the Cambridge-London train, so i'm not going there on my own!

I may insist on the odd detour, if you don't mind - firstly i need to drop off a birthday present for emarkienna. He lives near the station, so that should be easy, and we can drag him to strawberry fair too. Secondly i'm hoping to go the Hitchin in the evening, as the lovely ixwin and vectorious are having a party. So either i need to pursuade you both to come along there (you'd be most welcome, i'm certain, and you'd know most of the other people there), or i need to hunt down someone else in cambridge who is also heading to the party, and tag along with them, to avoid the train-on-own scariness.

Sounds great.

So... I think the (vague) plan will be that the Bat and I will travel up on Saturday earlyish and pick up fluffymark on the way, then head directly to Cam (via any detours necessary for Mark's commitments), then all meet up at the fair itself. We can work out what happens next when we're there. I'll be in a big Volvo, so we could potentially cram a couple of extra people in, should people require lifts.

Yaay!

PS: Would it be possible for Bat and myself to crash on Saturday night? We can bring bedding. If not, no major worries, I'm sure we can sort something out! ;-)
